pricing for the 2013 S and RS range of vehicles. We’ve already covered the RS5 coupe, S6 sedan, as well as the S7 four-door coupe and it is not time to move upmarket to the S8 saloon. This uses the same twin-turbo V8 engine as the S6 and S7, but in a totally different state of tune, one that allows it to deliver 520 hp and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and sends its power to the road via Audi’s quattro AWD system, sending the large sedan past the 62 mph mark in 4.2 seconds. As for the top speed, this is electronically limited to 155 mph (250 km/h). 

Audi Introducing In-Car Wi-Fi to 2013 A4 and A5 Model Lines

Audi announced  that its 2013 Audi A4 and Audi A5 model will be powered by a lot smarter thanks to the inclusion of the German automaker’s Audi Connect technology suite, an addition to Audi’s existing MMI Navigation Plus infotainment and telematics system.

The standard MMI Navigation Plus system includes an LCD display, MMI control logic (a touchpad with handwriting recognition), a 40GB hard drive and is powered by an Nvidia Tegra processor. So what does Audi Connect bring to the tablet? A whole lot actually.

2013 Audi RS5 Pricing starting From $69,795

the new 2013 Audi RS 5, which the automaker confirmed today is priced from $69,795, including an $895 destination charge.

the RS 5 comes with the Audi connect Internet connectivity feature, as well as the latest MMI Navigation plus system. This latter item includes such features as hard-drive navigation, a jukebox with 10 gigabytes of storage space, a DVD player and a voice activation system.

Audi 2013 S Models Prices

Audi has just published pricing for its 2013 model lineup, including the driver-centric S and RS models. From what we can tell, Audi is serious about expanding its share of the luxury market by upping the driver-entertainment value of models throughout its portfolio.
 
Starting at the high end of the model range, Audi is introducing its S8 sport sedan to the U.S. market for the 2013 model year. Powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8, the S8 produces 520 horsepower that’s sent to its quattro drivetrain via an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission.



As with other S models, quattro AWD is standard on the S5. The 2013 S5 Coupe starts at $51,795 for the six-speed manual and $53,195 for the S tronic. The convertible is priced from $60,195.

2016 Audi Q2 Rendered

The Q2 will be based on the A1 platform; it will be the junior member of a full lineup of Q “coupes,” which includes the A3/Q3-based Q4, the Q5-based Q6, and likely even a Q8 derived from the Q7. The crossover segment is strong and still growing; markets gobble up the pseudo off-roaders at an astonishing rate. Scaling a crossover to the A1's platform will help Audi to meet future, more-stringent consumption and emissions targets. A vehicle such as the Q2 seems right for today's congested cities, if one must have the SUV look. The Q2 will ride on the Volkswagen Group's A0 platform, which it shares with the VW Polo, Škoda Fabia, SEAT Ibiza, and, of course, the Audi A1. The platform is being modified to accommodate all-wheel drive; the Q2 will benefit from this option, but front-wheel drive will be standard. The Q2 was initially conceived as a three-door hatch with a five-door version (as rendered above) also on the table.

Audi Australia rewards Top Dealer Performance

Audi Australia has recognised the top performing dealerships of 2011 with its annual 'Audi Mark of Excellence Awards', presented at a gala dinner in Broome, WA.

Audi Centre Canberra was awarded Metropolitan Dealer of the Year 2011, now the fifth time the Canberra dealership has won the top honour. The Canberra team won the award for top Provincial dealership in 2007 and 2008, and then again in 2009 and 2010 after the dealership became a fully-fledged metropolitan operation.

Dealer Principal, Richard Rolfe, together with his team, showed clear determination to stay in the number one position, and the result is a fifth consecutive year as the top-performing dealership with the four rings.

2013 Audi Q5 Hybrid coming shortly

Audi’s long-awaited Q5 Hybrid, which was launched for sale in Europe late last year, is reportedly still on track for a local debut.



The eco-friendly crossover was first revealed almost two years ago and has been in contention for a U.S. launch ever since due to this market’s penchant for hybrids.


However, Audi has been reluctant to officially confirm the Q5 Hybrid’s arrival.

According to KickingTires, however, a spokesman for the automaker has confirmed that the Q5 Hybrid is coming soon, though no mention of a sales date or pricing has been made.

Audi RS6 Avant caught testing at Nurburgring

Audi is preparing to add a new RS model to its line-up as shown by these images of the future RS6 Avant. The sports-focused mid-sized vehicle was caught testing at the Nurburgring race track in Germany, donning some heavy camouflage. This just means that the mule that was testing previously has been tossed out and the production version is now making its testing rounds.

As previously reported, the Audi RS6 will be powered by the same 4.0 TFSI bi-turbo V8 as the S6, the S8, and even the new Bentley Continental GT V8. However, the final output is expected to be increased to the 500 HP area, so the RS6 should be a real monster.
